NNPDF Family Conference Scholarship funding is available to help families ease the cost of attending the Family Support and Medical Conference. Scholarship assistance will provide up to 3 nights hotel (room and tax only at the group rate) and up to 2 adult conference registrations for eligible applicants. Scholarship assistance is limited to immediate NNPDF U.S. family members of an individual with Niemann-Pick Disease.

Scholarship Guidelines

Please review the Scholarship Guidelines below carefully before completing the application.

What you need to know:

  • APPLICATION DEADLINE:  April 1, 2025
  • NOTIFICATION OF STATUS:  Applicants will be notified no later than April 15th, 2025.
  • APPLICATION PROCESS:  To apply, complete and submit the application below.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE:  If you are applying for a scholarship, please do not register for the conference until you have received your application status on or before April 15th. Instructions for scholarship recipients will be provided upon notification via email.
  • Please remember it is best to apply for the conference scholarship if you are considering attending the conference. It is always possible to decline the award if your family is not able to attend.

What the Scholarship Covers:

  • Up to 3 nights hotel (room and tax only at the group rate)
  • Up to 2 adult conference registrations to eligible applicants

Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible for scholarship assistance, applicants are required to:

  • Submit your scholarship application by April 1st.
  • Complete your conference registration and registration fees by May 4th.

PLEASE BE ADVISED:  Scholarship registration waiver codes will be provided on or before April 15th to those awarded assistance. If you’ve requested assistance, please wait for the award announcement before completing registration. To receive the discount, you must use the registration waiver code provided upon award notification.

  • Book your hotel accommodations by June 11th at the discounted group rate.

Expectations for Scholarship Recipients:

  • Attend conference sessions.
  • Complete a post-conference survey to provide feedback and help us improve future events.

Funding Priority Will Be Given To:

  • Newly diagnosed families who have not previously attended the conference.
  • Families attending the conference for the first time.
  • Families who have not received scholarship funding to attend the Conference in prior years.

We encourage everyone to apply, as it is possible NNPDF may receive additional funding for scholarships, increasing the opportunity for support.

Waitlist Period:

Scholarship applications received between April 2nd and June 15th may be reviewed if additional funding becomes available.
